One thing I wish I did differently in Term 3 was work at a faster pace One thing I was proud of in Term 3 was finishing my work at a apropriate time My main focus this term is to work at a faster pace and improve at maths When I need help I know to now ask a friend or Teacher for help At the end of this term, I want to be able to say that I achieved my goal

Place Value

Kia Ora My name is Te Manawa in  class we have been learning about place value 

what is place value. You may ask? Well  Place value is the value of each digit in a number there  separated by number. For example, the 5 in 350 represents 5 tens, or 50; however, the 5 in 5,006 represents 5 thousands, or 5,000. It is important that students understand that whilst a digit can be the same, its value depends on where it is in the number.

And my goal is to learn my 9x Times tables.
